DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
REMARKS: TRANSIT AGENT NEED EITHER ORGINAL COPY OF OCEAN BL OR A COPY OF RELEASE INSTR TO RECEIVE THE D/O.
CARGO SHOULD BE CONSIGNED TO THE TRANSIT AGENT IN IRAN MEANING THAT THE FULL STYLE OF TRANSIT AGENT MUST BE MENTIONED IN CNEE BOX ALSO, IN BODY OF BL SHOULD BE STATED”CARGO INTRANSIT TO…(PLACE) THROUGH…(AGENT).
MAX 20 TON PAYLOAD PER TRUCK INCLUDING CONTAINER TARE AND ADDITIONAL WEIGHT WILL BE CHARGED PRO-RATA. FYI, TRUCKERS ACCEPT 20’ CONTR UPTO MAX 26 TONS AND 40’ CNTR UPTO MAX 28 TONS BUT OFCOURSE THEY WILL REQUIRE RECEIPT OF ADDITIONAL FREIGHT ABOVE 20 TONS.
FOODSTUFF & CIGRATTES TRANSIT TAX FOR DESTINATIONS IN TURKMENISTAN USD 4/TON AND FOR OTHER DESTINATION IN CIS THROUGH TURKEMENISTAN USD 8TON WILL CHARGED ON TOP OF ABOVE GIVEN TARIFF

FOR HIGH CUBE EQUIP AND AS WELL AS DANGEROUS GOODS PLEASE CONSIDER USD 100/- CNTR AS ADDITIONAL SURCHARGE.

Very Important Note;
Pls ask all load ports agents to receive a letter of undertaking from the shippers to make sure that the content of containers to correspond exactly with the same cargo details mentioned in the shipping docs other wise they would be liable for all charges/ penalties which may arise to any mis-declared cargo at B.Abbas. FYI Iranian customs have a very restrict law/ regulation for im-declared cargo will be confiscated by the customs authorities and transit agent will be fined 2 times value of the confiscated cargo (This evaluation will be done by the customs) plus 3 times import Tax and duties

TRANSIT TIME WILL COMMENCE FROM THE TIME THAT TRANSIT AGENT RECEIVES D/O AND PROPER DOCS
ABOVE RATES ARE INCLUSIVE OF TRANSIT FORMALITIES AT BANDAR ABBAS TRANSPORT FROM BANDAR ABBAS TO FINAL DESTINATION AND RETURN OF EMPTY CONTAINER TO BANDAR ABBAS
TRANSIT TIME ARE BASED ON ROUND TRIP
CARGO INSURANCE CERTIFICATE SHOULD REACH TO TRANSPORT COMPANY BEFORE ARRIVAL OF THE VSL/FEEDER VSL OTHERWISE LOCAL INSURANCE WILL BE APPLICABLE ON THE LINE ACCOUNT (USD 50-60).

ISSUANCE OF BILL OF LADING
There is two alternatives for issuance of B/L
OSL accept all responsibilities from the port of loading up to the final destination CIS. Afghanistan or inland Iran. In this case OSL should issue their own OBL showing actual shipper, Transit agent in Iran as Cnee and Actual c’nee as Notify.
OSL uses a local forwarder at the loading port (eg rich shipping) by this OSL will issue their OBL to show rich shipping as the shipper, your transit agent as cnee, and actual cnee as notify. Responsibility of OSL will cease at B.Abbas on the other hand forwarders have to issue their House BL to show the actual shipper, actual cnee, notify same as cnee.
House BL will not be required for transit formalities at B.Abbas and can only be given to the shipper’s which require to have B/L upon movement of their Goods

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE METHODS
1. Afghanistan: After performance of transit formalities at B.Abbas by the Transit Agent, container will be loaded on the Iranian Truck and will be carried to IslamQilla (Afghan border Iran) Every Afghan cnee has agent at the border and upon arrival of Truck. The Afghan agent or consignee himself will transfer the cargo fm container while still on truck to an Afghan Truck and Empty container will return to Iran on Iranian Truck. There is no risk or loss of equip as they will not go deep into destinations in Afghanistan.

2. Destination is CIS: Same procecdure will be followed at B.Abbas upto loading of the container. Upon loading of cntr Truck Way Bill (CMR) will be issued with specific complete address/contact number of cnee at final destination. When Truck driver arrives at final destination he will contact cnee and will inform of arrival and parking point. Cnee will/should approach driver and collect documents to proceed for customs clearance and will take the truck/container to this warehouse for discharging of cargo. Empty container will return to B.Abbas on same Truck.
Maximum time allowed for customs clearance and discharge of cargo is 72 hours exceeding hours will be considered as truck demmurage at the rate of US$ 75/-day and OSL in this case should receive confirmation from shipper that if the consignee refuses to pay the truck demm to the driver shipper will pay the same.
